PATA SCHOOLS SEMINAR
TRAVEL & TOURISM – THE FUTURE IS NOW
ANOTHER YEC LINKED EVENT OF NORTHWEST CDC

PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) is The Leader of Asia Pacific Travel & Tourism. We, the PATA Singapore Chapter, supported by Singapore Tourism Board and the Singapore Workforce Agency (WDA) and Northwest CDC, organized a FREE half-day seminar on an update of the educational pathways and career opportunities in the Singapore’s Travel & Tourism Industry on Saturday 18 August 2007 at the Grand Cathay (Handy Road Location), 9.00 am followed by a FREE screening of “Rush Hour 3”. This seminar is targeted at upper secondary students of Northwest district who would be deciding on their further educational options in the very near future. A total of 555 students and guests attended the event, the largest turnout ever.
This event was graced by Dr Lim Wee Kiak, Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC and Advisor to Canberra GRO
